Basic knowledge of RFID
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a contactless, two-way wireless identification technology that uses radio waves. It can automatically track and identify target objects without mechanical contact or optical alignment.

System Composition
Tag: A miniature wireless transceiver attached to target objects, storing a unique digital ID or other data. Tags are categorized as passive (no battery, powered by electromagnetic waves from the reader/writer) and active (with built-in battery for longer communication range).
Reader/Writer: A device that transmits radio interrogation pulses and receives data returned by tags.
Software: Backend software used to process, analyze and manage data collected by the reader/writer.
Main Features
No line-of-sight alignment required: Unlike barcodes or QR codes, RFID tags can be read even when embedded inside objects or out of sight.
Wide identification range: Depending on different frequency bands (such as LF, HF, UHF), the reading distance varies from several centimeters to more than ten meters.
Efficient bulk processing: A reader/writer can scan and identify hundreds of tagged items simultaneously within one second.
